HOW DID YOU BECOME A PHOTOGRAPHER?
I received a professional photography diploma from The Western Academy of Photography in Victoria, BC in 2006. In the years after art school I assisted fashion + wedding photographers + took on freelance work in many different genres of photography + traveled extensively. In 2010 I set my heart on wedding photography and haven’t looked back. I’ve spent the last 10 years documenting love between amazing people and I feel blessed to call this my career.

WHERE DO YOU LIVE?
I currently live in Los Cabos, Mexico. I’m an experienced traveller, am always inspired by new locations and willing to travel.
WHO DO YOU ENJOY PHOTOGRAPHING?
Couples who are deeply in love + want a wedding that gives their guests an experience. My couples are stylish + care about quality. All ethnicities, orientations, gender identities + expressions are welcome.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?
Clean, Timeless, Natural. Nothing cheesy. Nothing overly filtered. My photos look polished but true-to-life and your wedding collection will include mix of candid moments, story telling details + beautiful portraits.
WILL YOU GIVE US DIRECTION?
Yes, most specifically during the portrait portion of the day. Most of my couples express that they feel awkward being photographed but that they want natural looking portraits. I’ve found that the best way to accomplish this is to give direction and encouragement while also giving you the space to interact and be yourselves. I promise to make you feel comfortable and look amazing.
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE RECEIVE?
It depends on how long we shoot for but I promise I’ll include plenty of images of everything I capture. I don’t give a cutoff number and I want you to have lots to choose from! These are your memories, I promise to capture them fully and give you more than enough images to remember this time in your lives.
WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
My turnaround time can vary depending on how much I shoot, how busy I am, my travel schedule and the holidays. I typically deliver portrait sessions in 2 weeks or less and weddings in 8 weeks or less. I try to get them back to you as soon as possible while making sure I give the necessary time and attention to each image.
WHAT IS YOUR EDITING STYLE?
Clean, polished and true-to-life. Not overly “filtered.” I do edit each image that you receive with an eye for detail. Every image is delivered in color, and some of those images are also delivered in black and white.
DO YOU WORK WITH AN ASSISTANT OR 2ND PHOTOGRAPHER?
My current wedding collections include a 2nd photographer/assistant to ensure that no moments are missed + everything runs smoothly.
DO YOU CHARGE TRAVEL FEES?
For weddings outside of the Los Cabos + Todos Santos area travel costs will need to be covered. I am currently only accepting a limited number of weddings each year that require travel.
WHAT IS A FIRST LOOK?
A first look is the opportunity for a couple to see each other, share a private moment + take some photos before the ceremony. This is often the only part of the day that the couple will spend alone. By having a first look, couples get complete the majority of their “posed” photos before the ceremony so that they can enjoy their cocktail hour with their friends and family who came a long way to celebrate with them. First looks can often be more emotional than the traditional route of waiting until the ceremony – there’s less pressure and no one but me (and your videographer if you have one) is there with you. With a first look + a little bit of portrait time at sunset, you’ll get wider range of quality and quantity of creative photos.

First we’ll connect, then I’ll send you a contract online. Signing of the contract + a 50% booking fee reserves the date!
